GrepNinja's weblog is a somewhat ordered collection of thoughts and resources mostly related to software engineering. It simply tracks what GrepNinja finds technologically useful, interesting, or amusing at some given point in time. Warning: high techno-geek factor!

Article: An Open Response to Microsoft

Sun answers some questions raised by Chuck Humble of Waggener-Edstrom, reputedly a public relations agency for Microsoft. A friend described the article as "snippy," but Humble's questions can best be described as "brain-dead." Really, one can only wish Humble had been moreso!

The questions and the answers are evidence of the total ludicrosity and bogosity characteristic of both sides of this dispute. While this useless wrangling continues, several generations of real software engineers are trying to create real solutions to real-world problems and we could certainly use some standards-based, platform-independent, and greed-free tools and protocols! Anyone from the warring camps want to contribute?
