That's a pretty sweeping statement, to say the least, but they cite the Library Journal as proclaiming their site as "One of the 50 Best Reference Sources of the Millennium." Judge for yourself! Or, maybe, not! The Grove Dictionary of Art wants you to subscribe and only has a free 24-hour trial period. Not for the casual art surfer!
